Whenever WWF and WCW wrestlers have matches on the same card, its a major ordeal, and its more often than not for a decent cause. This reason was for Brian Hildebrand, generally known as WCW arbitrator Mark Curtis. A long time former, he was diagnosed with stomach and entrail growth. He had surgery to uproot it, however it returned in 1999. 

On July 30, an advantage show was held at the Rostraver Ice Cultivate in Pittsburgh, Dad, called "Curtis Gets back." On that card, Eddie Guerrero wrestled Billy Kidman and Shark Kid, the WCW Unrest steady of Chris Benoit, Shane Douglas and Dignitary Malenko wrestled in the principle occasion, and Mick Foley crushed Al Snow and D'lo Tan.

Chris Jericho, who was marked to the WWF yet had yet to authoritatively make his introduction, likewise wrestled on the card, beating Terry Taylor. 

Shockingly, Hildebrand passed away to his malady just several months after the fact
